Hey Guys,
Been lurking and getting inspiration from all your amazing Garages. My wife and I recently bought our first house, living in the SF Bay Area can really push the date on that first home purchase. We bought the House at the first of the year, and I have made the garage a priority as I intend to remodel a lot of the house out of the garage. So far I have spent 7 Weekends upgrading.
Weekend 1
Demo of the Existing Garage Bathroom, not sure what the previous owner was thinking on this one, but this thing had to go, wood paneling, toilet in front of the
electrical panel for the whole house, vented in to the attic, couldn't sit on the toilet without turning sideways. My first weekend consisted of Demoing this garage and capping all the plumbing . 20 Hours.
Demo Of the Old Garage Bathroom
Weekend 2
Brought in my Electrician and improved the sad state of light and outlets.
Began with one outlet and 1 bulb
Ended with a dedicated 100 Amp Panel for the Garage
5 4 foot 2 T5 HO Fixtures and
4 Dedicated 220 Outlets and
14 110 20 Amp Outlets completed by the 2 of us in 22 Hours, all ran via mc cable and future proofed for adding any circuits at a later date.

Weekend 3
My pop came up and we insulated the entire garage with Ruxul Safe & Sound and sheet rocked the entire space (minus the ceiling) Sorry No Pics
15 Hours (Clearly we Aren't Professional Rockers)
Weekend 4
I painted the Entire Garage, 2 coats, not perfect but pretty decent Job.
12 Hours
Weekend 5
Floor Prep
This took all weekend just to get the 40 Plus year old floor looking as close to new as possible, my original plan was to leave it like this but once I finished I realized I wasn't happy with it and moved on. Prep took forever..about 18 Hours counting all the Acid Etching and Scrubbing.

Wekend 6
Ucoat it Grey Non Gloss Floor Covering. After the first coat I was worried, after the second coat I was happy. Good product, maybe a little over priced but it worked out great for me. Retched before applying plus 2 coats 14 Hours.

Weekend 7
Garage Door Opener
Had to get this guy, I'm 6 foot 6 and the old garage door opener was pulled down after I sliced my head on it the second time, I had intended to go without but once I saw these I had to have it.

Weekend 8 - 10
This is where everything else happened. Machines came in and got assembled and set up, Counter tops installed and cabinets put in, Chop Saw Station put in, TV and Speakers Installed (My Profession so that was pretty easy...www.ava-sf.com) Tool Peg Boards installed and a host of other things. We have lived here now for 16 weeks and this constituted a fair amount of my available weekends but I'm happy with the results. I may be a bit out of order with some of the shots and hopefully the actually post but I'm happy to answer any questions you may have. Stay tuned as I continue to add to my Shop, thanks for looking.
