Makes me wish I didn't have a Ridgid drill/impact kit already. Would definitely get this, but with a new house purchase trying to keep spending limited to necessities for a while.

This set is reasonably priced but is not Dewalt's top line tools and only 2 amp-hr batteries. Running the saws on 2 amp-hr batteries is a joke.

I'm sure it can cut some 2x4s and rip a couple pieces of plywood with no problem. It's not meant to be used all the time in place of your corded circular saw.

It mentions the batteries in the specifications and no one sells a combo kit without batteries and charger.

Great! Thanks! Looks like a pretty good deal to me as my craftsman sets batteries just went out and it would cost half what this set is going for.

Got my dad this combo. He had this set in 18v and used my 20v kit and was blown away at the difference. This is a smoking deal. Suggest getting the deal on the 2 - 4.0ah batteries for $99 and using the 2.0ah batteries for backups. Thanks for the link OP.
