The part you have linked is a 1/4" nut driver, not a holder for 1/4" hex bits.

You're looking for these:

I have a short one and the 12" one. Both work just fine. Not sure why you need a 'really powerful' one- bits falling out or something? That won't be a problem with the milwaukee ones. The smaller one occasionally requires needle nose pliers to get the bit out if it's a torx or something not easy to grab.

For me it's APEX for magnetic bit drivers and magnetic nut drivers. I'm spoiled on APEX and can't stand to use anything else anymore. They have a retention ring to hold the bit securely in place so it never comes out. You have to use pliers if you want to remove the bit which suits me just fine.

Hands down the best magnetic bit holder out there IMHO. It has a ring that holds the bit pretty darn secure AND has a magnet that is roughly twice as strong as others. Oh yeah, it locks in a strait position and also unlocks to swivel slightly. IMPACT RATED.

I agree - APEX makes some mighty bits.
Whenever I come across APEX stuff, I snag them. great tools. Though, I'm starting to look seriously at the new Makita Gold bits for future purposes.

Thanks for the suggestions so far guys and I need it to be really magnetic so it can hold torx faster on the end of it. Working on euro cars the are a lot of torx in tight spaces where you really don't want to drop the bolt and have to pull a million plastic panels off just to find the thing

The Wera doesn't let go, I guess the Wiha is similar but I really like the Wera one. You snap it in and it is there until you release it. Not really for impact but I have used them a lot that way...

Are you more concerned about the hardware (screw/torx/bolt/etc..) falling off or the bit that is doing the work?
