Started the phase 1 portion of garage last tonight by tackling the utilty room area of garage.
Prepped floor over last few days with angle griner & diamond carbine blade but prob wont use it much anymore ( expect corners) as it makes a huge dusty mess. Works well though. IF you grind concrete wear good masks, respirators & goggles. Nasty stuff...
After the dust settled I powerwashed a few times, degreased & the power washed again. Used squeegy to get the water out fast & speed up drying time.
I skipped filling 2 cracks in the room I started just to see what it would fill & thats not much. Rest of garge will have filled cracks, but this room should be ok as its just fridge , freezer, water softener & misc junk area. Plus the flakes should help hide them.
Early next week I plan to rent a shot blaster for the 40x30 area.
Anyway here are a few pics... more to come...
Thanks to gtiv16man for answering some supercoat pm's & really everyone here.. good site to learn from.
after 1 coat on walls & floor
the big project... ( not just the car
)
