I know that the topic of good mechanics gloves comes up periodically, and after doing a ton of research I found a possible good solution that hadn't been mentioned before: Superior Gloves. Some of their gloves are made in Canada, and they offer a ton of different gloves for different applications, including mechanics gloves, and the prices are competitive with the cheap Chinese stuff such as Mechanix. I saw a video on YouTube favorably comparing their impact resistance to many other popular brands.
