Love the lift hate the Company.... They said it would be three weeks to arrive, took 3 months. Like pulling teeth to get an order#. Excellent quality at a steep cost. Its the same one you see the poster for @ all the Barrett auctions.... My next one will be a Bend-pak.

Dayum; did they give you a good reason why it took so long?
My guess is a lot of these companies are hurting financially and with poor cash flow; they have to wait for $'s from orders coming in to buy the lift or materails for exisiting orders. Not a good situation with the shity economy. You're lucky you got your lift and not scammed.:shocking:

All I kept hearing was its in production. I called several times after the three week period to info on the lift. I could understand if the 4 post I ordered was a special size or color, but not the case. The person who takes the orders for them sucked. As it needed to go to a terminal for pickup due to size, I wanted enough time to set up with a friend who owns a trailer for pickup and to gather a few friends to help move this thing in place. One day I am at work and out of the blue I get a call from the frieght company, oh come and pick up your stuff.

Like I say the lift is well constructed and works Great, But if anyone is considering one be prepared to pay upfront and wait.

How about a picture. After talking with them the last two years at Barrett Jackson Plam Beach I was sold on getting one in the home we are going to build in Texas next year. I liked the quality and looks. I will have a 02 Corvette and a 64 Avanti R2 Supercharged using it.

I hate superlifts-be careful!
In 2005 I called superlifts and gave them the exact dimensions of my garage including all post locations. I ordered every bell and whistle option. The lift was installed by Leroy their traveling installer. He installed the lift to my satisfaction with the exception of the handle which he needed to bend in order to clear the post.
In 2010 I was excited to hire them again. I even wrote a complimentary artcile about them in my economic recovery and small business blog. Boy was I sorry. After giving them all the dimensions and a specific note about space issues, they installed the lift with the handle, lever and oil pan on the wrong side. I called Leroy within two hours and he told me he was already on the road and couldnt turn around. This was a $5000 lift and he left me hanging. I made numerous calls to headquarters and Leroy's cell phone and nobody would address my problem. Finally, after three months I called and asked for the owner. I was told his name was Keith and he would call me later that day. After a week I never received a call back. The formerly helpful salesmen would only say that he had passed on the message and thats all he could do. After all this frustration i called again and told them to please schedule to come pick up the lift. I even offerred to pay any inventory charges. They have never called me back. Now my calls to Leroy's cell phone go unanswered. Thanks to SuperLifts, I have a garage lift that cannot be used and keeps us from getting through the garage because the mechanics are blocking the way. I saw another post that suggested that the tough economy may be the problem. I dont think so. Service will put these guys under before the economy ever does.:(

Well, Superlifts has closed, out of business...leaving me high and dry. To start, ordered a twin lift in December was told it would be delivered and installed in January. After many calls and false promises, it came in April. Immediately I had concerns when the cheap removable ramps supplied, almost collapsed under the weight of just a 65 corvette. They promised new "gusseted" ramps would ship out the next day. To date, still never received them. Now the best. After just the second time raised, a bearing blew out of one of the cable pulleys and jammed. Took 2 weeks and many threats to get a replacement sent out. Found out 3 other customers with twin lifts have the same issues and its not bad bearings, but a bad design in the geometry of the lift. Next, while lowering the lift, one latch broke off and caught in the last notch on an upright and two cars tipped at a 45 degree angle and almost tipped over the whole lift onto me. It bent the crossbeam and and sliders on the uprights. I sent them photos and they kept promising a tech to come out but that was 2 months ago. They lied every time I called that someone was coming. No show two months later and now they are gone. So now I have a $12K lift that is good for nothing but scrap metal. Thank you Superlifts!

www.Superlifts.com rip-off, scam, fraud

I too have been scammed by http://www.superlifts.com. I paid a $3800 deposit on April 12, 2011 and never rec'd a lift or a refund and now they are closed down.

I had ordered a Single Post Lift in April and was continuously strung along and lied to by fast talking Dustin Rose the www.Superlifts.com salesman. After doing some research appearently they have a long track record of doing this dating back to 2009 (long delays on delivery, taking deposits, closing down and re-opening under a new name). They used to be Superior Lifts and had a website www.superlifts.com. Now they are Superlifts.

Don't be scammed like I was. I have lost all the money and never even rec'd a lift and I've been waiting since April 12, 2011 (its now Aug 11!). I have filed a dispute with my cc co and will also file charges against the Goolsby (owners) and Superlifts.com.

By the way if you run into Dustin Rose at a Barret-Jackson tradeshow trying to sell more car lifts .... give him a punch in the face for me and say "that's from the guy you lied to 12 times in Tampa and stole his deposit"

I too am a victim. I ordered an SR-7H on June 30 from Dustin and wsa told it would be ready in 4-6 weeeks. He also told me I could save money by using a check to pay for the lift, so I did that. When I called last week, I got the same recording about the Power of Attorney. When I called today, I actaully spoke to a fellow named Scott from Gemini Lifts in TX. Turns out, Gemini is the real supplier of the lifts to Superlifts. He told me that Superlifts owed Gemini $100,000+ and that Superlifts had now closed their doors, but that Gemini took over the website and the phone number.

I filed a complaint with the MO Attorney General's Office (http://ago.mo.gov/consumercomplaint.htm). I'm out $4465 for the lift.

Here is a picture of the lift i ordered from superlifts.
I got the same run around everyone else got, until I had my attorney send him a demand letter. Deliver the lift or refund my money.Dustin Rose called me and said the lift would be delivered and installed June 11 ,2011 (at that point he was 5 weeks late). My lift was delivered and installed by Gemini Lifts by the owners of Gemini and when I asked how large the facility was at superlifts they told me Dustin was a lift broker and only purchased the lifts from gemini.

My lift was installed in % hours and works perfectly.

Sam or his son Aaron can be reached at(800) 535-6932.

I will be purchasing another lift in the near future and it will be from Gemini Lifts.

I am going to be at the barret-Jackson Auction Sept 22-24 ,2011 If dustin Rose is there I will humiliate him.

Be careful out there, it seems that quite a few of these lift companies are tied together by ownership or buddies helping buddies and they're screwing everyone they can. I just got taken for $4100 by Mid-America lifts, half down and no delivery, phones disconnected and can't get ahold of anyone.

Re: www.Superlifts.com rip-off, scam, fraud

Not sure if this helps, but I just ran across this information on Keith and Sarah Goolsby, owner's of Superlifts aka Mid America Lifts aka Gemini Lifts. They are in the process of selling their massive home at 415 Tranquil Lane, Branson, Missouri. You might want to alert your legal contacts of their location.
