Stiil pondering some sort of floor overlay for my garage floor and limited to something I can put down in a days time or so as I can't park old cars, tool boxes, shelving, everything out in the driveway for a couple of days to be picked over by roving curbside shoppers. I was recently looking at SupraTile which appeals to me due to it's relative thin section, as I often roll stuff in an out of the garage into the driveway and don't need more transitions to deal with. Curious as to experiences with it for jacks, jack stands, 4-post lift posts, heavy rolling toolboxes, etc.
I have pretty much everything in my garage on casters (heavy shelving, work benches, tool boxes, equipment). And I have one small car I park on steel caster wheel dollies in a corner of the garage that I especially worry about as it has to be tugged and rolled out to where it can be started and backed out. At 67 it's enough of a struggle to get all 16 casters pointed in a common direction so that I can get it rolling - if the caster wheels are sunk down in little depressions in the floor tile from storage, it's going to be a problem long term.
I tested a RaceDeck tile under a caster wheel for a couple of days and it did form a temporary depression in the tile - not much and it recovered - but enough to worry me about being able to get this car moved out. Thus I've done nothing further to date. Anyone have any experience with SupraTile under this type use? Surface hardness/density and thin section are my main issues.
Thanks
