The postings for tile floors for garage floors have mostly discussed Racedeck and Locktile. Does anyone have knowledge of or experience with the brand SUPRATILE? We'd like to buy the tiles this weekend, and know that this brand is available for us to purchase nearby as are other brands from Lowe's and Home Depot. Hope someone on the garagejournal can tell us about SUPRATILE as compared with the others. Also, we'd be interested in experiences with the brands sold at Lowe's and Home Depot. We want to know if we can move ahead this weekend with one of these, or need to wait to order a Racedeck or Locktile that has to be shipped.

I prefer RX7tile or 300zxtile

ROLF ahahahaha.

OP, if you go with these type of tiles, even though I would recommend porcelain, I highly suggest you stick with Racedeck. Search the support they offer here, and how responsible they are for their product. Trust me, a year from now, if anything goes wrong, RD seems to be above and beyond with the support. Your welcome RD. lol.

I would trust Lowes or Home Depot. Home Depot carries ITtile which is made in the US. They are quiet when walking on.

You know how many people here have put down bad epoxy/painted floors based on home depot/lowes products and advice?

Supratile has no cams or tabs. They have full perimeter interlocking joints that can't break. Also Supratile is a solid (and therefore much quieter to walk on than a hollow type tile) construction. Supratile are also oversize about 20" square so they have almost 1/4 the amount of joints further reducing any chance of liquids getting under them.

We also offer super industrial grade protective topcoat that can be applied at any time. While definitely not required the topcoat adds gloss and makes them easier to keep clean.

We normally ship same or next day depending on what time of day you order. They carry a 25 year warranty too.
