I can't speak directly to a competitors product I do not sell. It would be unethical of me. I will say that it is a PVC product. We carry both PVC and polypropylene. For an automotive garage, I prefer polypropylene in most cases.

PVC provides a higher degree of protection to the concrete. Some PVC products allow moisture to get out, others do not. PVC is much more likely to stain from tires, so put black where you park. PVC looks great with a single solid color. Some people don't like the checkered look with the 'puzzle locks'

That price works out to about $3.44/sf

They appear to be purchased for Costco from Mats Inc. I can't tell you much about the quality, but the fact they are made in the U.S. is good.

My advice if you are serious about installing tiles in your garage is to contact a garage flooring vendor that sells tiles and tell them about your project. Good vendors will tell you the pros and cons of each type of tile. Additionally, you purchase each tile individually to fit the size of your space. This can be advantageous compared to buying in boxes of 23 sq ft at at time. It can hurt to have to buy another box at $80 per when you only need 1 or 2 tiles more to finish your project. You may be surprised to learn that the cost of buying from a quality vendor vs Costco might be closer than you think.

Lastly, a good vendor is there to answer your questions and provide any other information that you may not be aware of. Costco is a great place to buy a lot of things and their customer service is good, but they are not garage flooring experts and they will not be able to assist you if you have installation questions.
