Ok here are some close ups of my new concrete, 6 months old no sealers. Wondering from all the floor goorus with experience is the good for primer? Or need to be roughed up more.

So what I’m reading is this is not course enough (feels like 50 grit sandpaper) and grinding will be more course. Just wanna make sure. Thanks

It's not just a rough finish that is the goal. The grinding or etching process opens up pores in the concrete so that it can better absorb a coating in order to achieve the strong mechanical bond that coatings require.
