Nice Jon
Does the cross slide move easy by hand. I have a Old Bridgeport Textron 6 x 18 that is only hand operated and I love it. Just like you said, you will never need another. In my boo you earned a You **** award.

Thanks so much. I bought it off the original owner. He was 77. A retired tool maker from Italy. Power on Z axis. Everything works well. Quiet spindle. Like you Im a fan of these proven machine tools. Love the Textron. Those Bridgeport mills kinda wrap around you somehow.

COOL! Your shop is going to be awesome when you're done! I can't wait to learn more about surface grinders. I'm in the first year of my apprenticeship and loving it!
