Surface mount "finished" conduit/wire raceway

Okay sparkies I need your recommendation ! What do you recommend for surface mount wiring where the finished sheeting is already installed. I know you can paint EMT, but I'm think something a bit nicer.

First is the proper terminology surface mount conduit or raceway ?

Second, availability, cost and easy of installation are all factors.

Surface mount raceway is the term you are looking for.
Wiremold is one of the main manufacturers, along with Panduit.
Since I do low voltage (phone and data) I can just use the plastic version. It's very easy to work with. I don't rely on the adhesive alone, I always put screws through it as well.

Wiremold is very pricey, may make you rethink the "looks" thing, but it would be the thing to use.

Yep. 1/2" EMT is $1.69 for a 10' stick at my local Lowes store.

EMT is **** when its done properly, go with it.
