Echo PB600

My Echo PB-600 was running crappy for it's first fall use. Bought a new plug and was looking for the gap in the manual when the original sales receipt fell out. 20 years old on Sunday. Wow. And the new plug did the job. Works great. I've only had that thing serviced once in the twenty years. Just a tune up.

I think Echo is the redheaded step-child of the OPE industry. It might hold up to prefessional duty, but it's way above the standard big box store stuff.
My Echo weedeater is probably about 12 years old - no engines issues with it ever. My wife convinced to buy that when I had to futz around with my 5 year old TroyBilt trimmer everytime I needed to use it. Much like my Honda walk-behind mower - you cry when you buy it because its so much more expensive than seemingly equivalent units, but when you're still using the same unit a decade later that you would've replaced twice with the lesser brands, you know you're ahead of the game.

I also have an Echo chainsaw. It doesn't get much use, but it's nice to have when I need it. It's probably 4 years old...no issues with that either, but that's not very telling based on the light use and the younger age.

Mine was purchased from a local dealer which has since closed. It is also commercial grade. Not that means anything. I thought it was 10 years old. I nearly crapped my pants when I saw it was 20
