Hey everyone, figured it was about time I made a intro. Bought my house 3 years ago and the garage was in rough shape, its still in rough shape but at least now its usable. Ran new service under ground from the house to the garage, new panel, all new wiring and lights with 60A service. Once i pulled off 4 layers of 3 tab shingles, and replaced all the rotten wood, I put barn style steel on the roof. Kinda did a cathedral style ceiling inside so i can use my engine crane at full height. I'm a full time ford mechanic by trade, so i mostly use the garage to escape and work on old cars. The tank on my old champion compressor rotted out so i picked up that husky tank cheap and put my motor and pump on it. That old snap on tool box was left to my by my great uncle, who was also a mechanic. Its full of cool old snap on and other makes of tools. I can find a picture of my box at work in anyone is interested. snap on classic 96.

Welcome to GJ. That looks like a good working shed that you have ... and a nice project car in it. I have the same Snap-on chest.

i have the bill of sale when my uncle bought the bottom box. dated 48 or 49. i tried to get the sliders replaced under warranty but the snap on rep couldn't find me any. so i straightened them out myself. Im going for the patina look on the car....it was painted sometime and the 70s and is showing some primer in a few spots, few dents and scratches. I put a 80s 5.0L in it with a t-5 trans this winter. it keeps me busy

Welcome to the GJ from VA!
That looks like a great shop, gotta love it. And a Ford in it, no less! I'm just curious, it's a Canadian Falcon?? '64?? Classy ride.
