I purchased a Swag-Off-Road table for my Milwaukee Deep cut portaband saw a couple of years ago. Problem is it doesn't mount the saw parallel with the table and when I use the rip fence I purchased with it it is way off from cutting straight. Have they changed anything or is anyone experiencing the same problem as I have? I sent them an email after I purchased it and got no help. I just sent them another email to see if they have cured the problem. Love the table and use it a ton but tired of having to turn my material to get it to cut straight and not being able to use the rip fence.

Very surprising! No first hand experience with Swag. But I know a guy that bought one to build his tube bumpers and sliders, can't recall him mentioning that, also read alot of positive comments on many different forums. Hopefully you'll get a better response from this email. Good luck!

Which version of the table do you have and what model Milwaukee saw do you have? I have version 4.0 (purchased second hand, but still new) and do not have any issues with it being square. I do recall from the instructions I received that when using the M18 band saw, you did have to modify the table for it to properly seat.

Also, what rip fence are you using? I'm guessing it's not a Swag product as I didn't see one on their site.

I have the 6230 Milwaukee. The rip fence was from them. Not sure of what version I have but as I think about it it could be up to 4 years old. They have sent me an email and asked what model saw I have so I'm hoping for a positive outcome.

After going on their website mine is quite a bit different from the one they offer now. My fence slide actually bolts on to the side. And the plate is cut different. Not sure what is up now.

Well they got back to me and said they have a plate that will work and will sell it to me for $10.00. So I ordered it and we'll see how it works. One problem is that my plate is 1/4" and the new one is 3/16 so I will have to shim it up, no biggie! I'll let you know when I get it and hopefully it is the end of my problem. Troy and Eric have been very helpful though.

Mine is the same way, blade not parallel to the miter slot. I have a Milwaukee deep cut, 6230 I think. If the new plate works for you please let me know, I would like to get one also. Thanks.

Mine had the same problem. A 6230 on a V3.0 table. A couple of washers straightened it right up. I removed the roller assemblies to clean and oil them, then used a washer on both the top and bottom assemblies to twist the blade a little more to be straight with the table. I am amazed at how much use this tool sees and I'm glad I have it in the garage.
