Build your own...a piece of 1/4" plate and some box tube is all you need to make one.

If I were to build a table I might consider building a table for a Sawzall.
You'll get unlimited throat with a Sawzall table which lows for a rotation of the Sawzall within the table base.

If you need pictures as proofs of what I've said, let me know and I'll walk down and show you very experienced Stout and swag units.

I built a jig saw table thirty years ago... best thing ever...

So what are the differences between the 3.0 and the 4.0? I was thinking of getting a cheap WEN bandsaw and throwing it in there for occasional use.

I jumped on a M18 fuel portaband/angle grinder combo at Home Depot a few days ago. Ordered the V4 table and the miter gauge. I'll let you know how I like it.

I'm sure I could build one a lot cheaper but I'd rather put the time into other projects.

It literally takes a half hour to build a simple one and almost everyone who does metal work would have scrap on hand to do it...one slit cut, two countersunk holes, weld on 4 feet, call it a day. I can't make $130 in a half hour.

A buddy of mine got a new Milwaukee porta-band and the corresponding Swag table. I used it, and it is a nice piece of gear. If you have more money than time, or just don’t want to spend the time on building a tool to use for your projects, I think it would be a good buy. I personally went the DIY route and built one for the Harbor Freight saw. This is one of the older models and I’ve used it hard it put it up wet (oily?) going on maybe 7 years now. Only thing I would change is making the table surface a little more robust, as suggested above. I used 1/8” and while it’s worked ok, it definitely is a little on the flimsy side.

Snapped this pic while changing the blade (why the cover is off) and brushing out the larger debris.

Buy one, they are awesome! And buy the foot pedal, it's a great addition. I got a Makita saw on CL and painted my stand to match. I have a miter gauge that happens to fit the slot that helps with cutting. My saw doesn't have any cover, either.

Can we see yours?

Yup, simple and quick to throw together...used bolts for adjustable leg height but totally not necessary:

I got one and it is well worth the money and very handy to have around.. If you can build one that's great but I don't have a welder.
