SWAG V4 connection problem

I have a question regarding the SWAG V4 band saw table. I have the table with the appearance package and the 6232-21 Milwaukee saw.

No matter what I try there is no way I'm getting the thumb screw installed without bending or modifying things.

The saw is brand new and never used. The table arrived in perfect shape, no dents or bent parts. Following the instructions I place the foot in the lowest position. And when placing the saw in the table make sure the tab is lined up and inserted into the vent.

Just holing the saw in place everything looks good. But when I try to insert the thumb screw the foot is off the base of the table and over to the left slightly (if looking from the material feed direction). I cannot force the base of the saw forward enough to get the foot close enough for the thumb screw to catch.

Looking at the shims on the base that fit above the foot they seem to be too large. If I was to remove the smallest shim the saw would fit fine. But when installed it looks like there would then be a gap in this area.

I have tried emailing SWAG with no response. Has anyone run into this fit issue? Any suggestions?

I have had 3 different issues with the swag v4 table. a new table was sent to me that sorted out the inconsistent miter slot widths. the saw when screwed to the table has a canted blade left to right. he told me to try to shim it. I did. the region behind the blade is not flat so cutting a curve was causing issues.
