Swanson Professional Levels at Lowes

If someone needs one, as of noon today, Houston store #1131 had one of the 48" that scans at the $13.** price. I've already snagged a couple so I put it back with all the other levels in the tool department (it did not have a clearance tag). The 24" scanned at $22.**.

My local Lowe's would Not price match from the above receipts. Does anyone know their policy on this matter?

I found a Werner 225 lb fiberglass ladder at Home Depot for $42.00, Lowes had it for $58.00.

I showed the cashier a picture on my iPhone of the price and they matched it, although it required a manager override.

Scored a 48"er for $26.38 in Omaha, NE today. Still a good deal. It was the last one, and was marked down to $37.** before coming down to this price.

Also of note: they have a Swanson 9" magnetic level on sale for $6.09, down from $18.

Got one of those, too.

Yeah, I knew they matched their competitors prices. I was asking along the lines of matching Lowe's to Lowe's.

I just picked one up in Columbus, Ohio. It was marked down to $25 but rang up $20 at the register. Good deal for a quality level if you ask me.

Just happened to be at lowes and picked one 48" for 14$ WOOT!

The 24" one was about 15$, which was weird. My level collection is complete, 72", 48", 24", and 9"

I was able to order the 48 and 24 online. The total with tax and shipping was just over 31 dollars. Thanks for the heads up.

Just picked up a 48" near me in Omaha, NE for $13.74! Online showed none in stock at all local locations, but I called the one near me to verify. Turns out they had two...well, one now that I snatched one up! They also had the 48" non-magnetic on sale for $8.74...debating if I should go back for it.

Tried to buy online last night and this am - seems they're trying to emulate sears.com.

Two calls and an hour on the phone ended up w/a 48" and 3ea 24" levels being shipped to me via UPS from LA - just what I wanted and all from the comfort of my chair!!

The lady was real nice and volunteered to run 'em down... and she did!

Need to rethink doing biz w/Lowes, eh?

Finally got one of each. $13.** and $9.99 at the Willoughby OH store. I got the last 48" one. They had two 24" ones left marked with yellow clearence tags. Don't trust the website for accurate stock numbers.

Yes, I grabbed one today. Non-Magnetic but I work with wood anyway. For $8.74 it's a nice deal for a "straight edge"!

They are inline in the wall display with the other levels....look for the tan/orange tag on the tag holder.

Just wondering because when I picked up the magnetic yellow 48" the others were still marked at the regular price. I'll have to check them out this weekend.
