IMHO, its not worth the swap for the marginal extra cfm.
If you want to try something cool, setup both comps to run switch-hit style, or staged cut-in, on common tanks. That way both machines can contribute to your usage without one being overworked. I'm looking at doing this... with my 10cfm portable 20gal and 6cfm stationary 30gal.

If you swap out the pumps, you won't even notice the difference. You likely don't have a big enough motor to get more flow out of that other pump anyways - that is really your limitation with the existing compressor.
The manufacturers don't give you any extra motor HP to work with on that size compressor (more copper is $). Heck, even Big Red Air (who makes some compressors for Snapon) had Baldor special-wind a "7HP" motor - not the standard NEMA size of 7.5HP - in order to reduce the cost of their unit. And that's on a compressor that retails for close to $4K (but is really about a $2500 unit when comparison shopping).
