It was initially for a project. I was drilling through ceiling joists to install lights in a first floor room and needed to do it via a in ceiling speaker hole. I got it done, but thought it would be nice in the future as the drill will most likely get used with hex shank spade bits

I'd say no, get away from an impact, the anvil will be different.
Looking at the back of the chuck, its a 1/2-20 thread, and all the hex to 1/2-20 are the wrong gender on both ends, made to mount a wheeel of some nature
That train of thought quickly devolves into plumbing fixtures
It did let me put one in my cart, but still expensive to put on a $200 drill.These are the only ones I know of. I’m pretty sure the third one would work but it’s min order of 12 and insanely expensive
