Went to the Portland swapmeet last Saturday Had a good time kept my streak of 14 years in a row going

Got some good deals i thought

small oil can for $3 guy wanted $5 I always look for oil cans for a good price More character and way cheaper than new ones

Then an Ajax bottle jack for $21 Guy wanted $30 I'm going to get it working good and use it for a press I'm wanting to build

Then the Best deal i thought of the day a SnapOn compression Tester

Needs a new hose but other than that its in Pretty good shape

Passed up a complete SK 3/4 inch socket set in the original metal box. Sockets to 2 1/2 with ratchet breaker bar, 2 extensions and t handle for $125. Guy said he would deal to but don't really have a use for it and my dad has a set i can borrow but thought it was a good deal

All in all it was a good meet and a fun time

I even passed it up the first time and went back about a 1/2 hour later and it was still there

i need to get a replacement hose but don't see one on snap-on's web site does anyone know where i could find one

Where is the portland swap meet?? I grew up in forest grove and am now stationed far away but seeing what you got makes me want to go next time im home!

Its at the Expo center and PIR the first weekend in April unless Easter is that weekend like this year then the 2nd weekend

At one time the Portland swapmeet was the third largest in the country. It is still the largest on the west coast per this years advertising.
