Swapping a Matco box for Montezuma?

Hey guys,
Just looking for a quick sanity check. I have a very, very nice Matco service cart (MSC12) with the optional extra drawers, making it a 6 drawer roller. The problem is, I don't use the split top as a work area, and rarely ever use the top bay for anything useful (I think it has a 20', unused air-hose in it right now)

So I 'm thinking of selling it to fund something like the Montezuma 36" stack, which might be much more practical for my use / organizational skills!

My local Sears is actually carrying these now (the guy said they are a "test store" for them), and I'm tempted.

...have you guys got any thoughts about that box? ...is it worth sacrificing the Matco?

I just came from sears, they had montezumas, first time I've seen them. I am by no means an expert in toolboxes, but I didn't think it was all that nice. I didn't spend more than a few seconds at it. fwiw

You are comparing apples to organes. If you had a 6s triple bank and was asking to trade for a montezume that was two inches deeper, that would be stupid, but for cart for a top bottom combo, there is nothing wrong with that.

The Sears Monty stuff is pretty poor quality. Order from stb.com and you'll be happy.

Are you stating that Montezuma created a separate line, to be sold at Sears?

Is there something I'm missing? Comparing a few models from Sears and StrictlyToolBoxes, they're using the same gauge steel, model numbers, and even the total weights are the same...

Or are you just a big fan of STB? :D
