[first post, lurker de-lurking…]
I have recently acquired a slightly motley* collection of Snap-on rollcab/topchest combo’s to replace my ageing Halfords (UK brand) cabs. In doing so I have also gained a really bulky set of keys as each unit is keyed differently, not to mention that the Snap-on round keys are pretty bulky anyway.
So I am looking at rationalising the locks so that they are all keyed alike. The locks are available via Snap-On‘s online spares…
However, I have a 36” KRL Rollcab with an older blade (Y series) style lock of 1996 vintage. Does anyone know if this cab will take a newer style lock?
Help much appreciated before I go ordering things…
thanks
Mark
*Motley as I have a 36” KRL Rollcab (KRL600) in Red, with a much newer 36” Topchest (KRL737) in Mercedes Silver on top. Next to that I have a Canadian made 40” KRA stack…
