Sweating Slab options

Hey guys I’m doing a garage addition now, will end up about 1100sqf. I didn’t tear out the old section of concrete because my garage was framed on the slab. I have had this issue since I bought the house 13 years ago, when humid out my concrete slab sweats. It’s not moisture coming from the ground, it’s the humid air coming in contact with the cool concrete and condensing. I know this because
I taped a section off with plastic and it does not sweat under it. I wanted to do
Epoxy floor but this will not fix this. I am heating the garage with forced hot air and will be installing fans and dehumidifiers if needed.

I read an article on alpha garage and they indicate my remedies will help but may not cure. So a floor tile like Swiss Traxx May be more of a fix.

Can you guys please help out with options or things that have worked for you? Also if you have Swiss traxx or similar how you like it?

Thanks for the help!

Running the ceiling fan takes care of it for me.

Jay

Thanks for replying Jay, so the ceiling fans are enough to keep it from condensing. Mine gets really bad when humid out, this was today very humid and wall missing from construction lol.

Those tiles may not work either. I had interlocking rubber tiles down on concrete and it was a swamp under it.

The racedeck and swisstrax are an open design so they should allow the air flow to dry them up underneath. I definitely do not want a solid tile.
