Hi all,

I'm looking for information on the Sears model 28-1239 floor jack, which I believe my dad purchased in the early 1970s. It's marked Made in Sweden, but I don't have any other information besides that.

Does anyone know the original manufacturer? Are there still rebuild kits available anywhere? It leaks down pretty quickly and needs new seals.

It was sold under Watco/Viking along with Coats Nike, the 300H is there specific model number.

It's kit number 17465 via HPS in my Signature, looks like it's $35, might not hurt to tear into it first, just to make sure it's a good candidate for rebuild, and obviously doesn't hurt to price check kits with Google.

Im going to guess it had to do with whomever provided a quality product and made financial sense along with filling vacancies in there product line, In regards to Jacks they utilized Japan (Yasui), USA (Walker) along with i believe Hein Werner in the OS/WS series for a limited time.
