Hi!

Im back! I'v been free from work 9 weeks this summer, but I havent just sleep in etc.

Completed "Garage door project" by spraying a thin layer of stone/grout/cement where it still was only "grout".

And after that I finished of with some white and grey paint on the front wall.

After this project I needed some fast motivation before I started with the porch, so we bought a couple cans of paint and threw it on the house. Later if you remember it was yellow bricks.

.. And about that time people starting to complement us the house was turning out so nice.. So, i kept on by tearing down the roof on the porch, installed a condensation cloth, new laths, new tin roof and starting to build the new walls and installing the new glass:

That looks so good! Very impressive!

I Might start rebuilding a tool chest today, either it will become a new welding cart/table och just a tool cart with wheels that you can drag around in the shop, I will upload pics when its done :)

After seeing some of your other projects, I’m looking forward to seeing this tool chest updates. I’m sure it’s been bumped down your busy list, but I love seeing these types of jobs.

That is a really impressive transformation! Well done!

House and garage have undergone a dramatic transformation. Great work!

Beautiful

Thank you very much all of you guys!

Here is a quick photo of the requested tool cart. It was a blue old cabinet with doors, I put wheels on it and used one of the doors to build a shelf on the right side. Also reused a small tin tool board. Painted the whole thing in fluid black underbody to hide the welds :p . Does the job good enough!

Carport looks very nice! Too bad you can't get that Belair to complete the garage.
Silly question, but why do trailers in Europe have such small diameter tires? Seems like they would spin very fast and wear bearings prematurely, not to mention the load capability? Seen them in threads from the UK, Norway, Belgium, Austria, Germany, etc.

Hi!

Yeah its a shame, it would look really good in the carport ;)

I have a bit of a plan to be able to buy a cool car in maybe a year or so.. Im gonna raise my house loan from the bank with a really low interest and install solar cells for electricity production. If it costs $10k, the goverment will pay me back $2k when its completed. And for every "kwh" of electricity I produce I can sell them to the Electric company for "100 penny", I also get 60 penny per sold "kwh" back from the goverment each year.

So in a year or two, I will have 50% cheaper electric bill and also will recieve around $1500 per year for sold electricy. THEN, I can buy me a car! :lol_hitti

Oh yeah, forgot about your question regarding the trailer. I wanted a low trailer for low cars, but with the wheels under the deck, not on the sides. 6.25 bar air in the tires. You are probably right about the wheel baring and such, but thats a later problem :p

Havent done much in or outside the shop since the carport build due to no kindergarden for my kid, and both me and the mrs are working full time so not much time for "my stuff" :p

But I have bought a shop truck, an old VW T4 transporter. My father in law owned it in his company since new, but sold it to a mechanic/car painter last year. He restored it, put new paint on it and made it really nice. And now I bought it back :)
