So this old bird has been sitting around for a while now and I am finally getting off my **** and putting her back in service (I think). It is a 1929 Blackhawk C8.5 that looks to be in good enough shape. Needs new seals all around. SO... I wanted to get your thoughts. First, should I just shelve it and admire its beauty? Or give it a complete restore? Second, if I dig into this, where the hell do I find my parts? No kits exist, and I am new to this whole jack rebuilding bandwagon. Cant find any info on the net about this except an old advertisement. Also, any clue what the original handle looked like? I believe it was in two pieces. Anyway, just curious what you all thought and wanted to share this cool old piece of Amercana.
