I was in the local Home Depot a couple days ago just to check out a couple items I'd noticed in the flyer. I was wandering the aisles trying to fine what I was interested in and came upon a display of clear out Ridgid shop vacs. I came home with this one.

Regular price was $89.99, sale price, $23.00 :rocker:

I'd been looking to pick up a small cheap vac to use just for my blast cabinet, but this one will take the place of my old 5 gallon that I use for the cars and doing the RaceDeck floor so it can now serve on the blast cab. I haven't mounted it up yet, but have all ready picked a spot.

Never did find what I originally went in for

That was a sweet deal. My local HD doesn't even carry that model and they want $99 on the website

Hah, we bought two of those like a year ago for $19. They must go on blowout sales sorta often with those. Seem to work pretty good, been sucking up sawdust and metal chips with em

Make sure to register the warranty. Those were on clearance a while back and I bought one for home and one for work. The motor died on both of them after very little use.

I bought what looks like the same model branded Craftsman. That one has excellent reviews, and so far seems like a nice vac. Of course, I didn't get it for $23. It's typically over $100 at Sears.

Same here...same idea, looks awfully close to the same thing. And I agree...wife loves it for vacumming the vehicles, etc..
