Neat little sensitive drill press. It was designed for very small, precise hole drilling. They can be handy for model making and electronics work, but the average home shop wouldn't have one. At that price I think you will be seeing it listed for a while.

Probably came out of the Boeing works or a subcontractor shop.

If it were on the right side of the state, I'd be there trying to make a deal with him.

How is that direct drive? It clearly has belt on it, and a motor on the back

heres almost the same one for sale on CL by me i don't know how to cut and paste CL tried it a few times heres a pic there asking $595 for this one

Yup. Not too many people would know what to do with a 10,000 RPM drill press.

I'm waiting for the first question about "How can I slow it down so I can use a 1" drill bit in solid steel?"
