We have thought about the possibility of a indoor pool in the future. If I ever get to that point I have considered the use of Ozone and/or ultraviolet to keep it sanitized eliminating the use of chlorine all together. I haven't yet fully researched the indoor affects of the ozone (wouldn't think any worse then chlorine) but I would believe a small air make up unit in the area could reduce the effects.

ozone buildup in a non-ventalated area is a bad thing healthwise. I was looking at using a ozone generator to keep the water clean in an indoor pump testing rig and was advised not to by the manufacturer due to the health risks

I could never due this due to the simple fact that one night I would be driving home after an 18 hour day at work. I would reach up, hit the door opener and find my car and myself, in the pool. I would then be the talk of the neighborhood and the village idiot. I would then post pictures and my story on this website. :spit:
