Swisstrax is on sale til the 10th. Ii have a quote for my floor at $1900 delivered (about $4 per foot). My question is for those that have it installed. How is the clean up? I will have saw dust from time to time and that should shop vac pretty easily. I don't have a floor drain in the garage and being in north eastern Ohio there will be excess moisture from snow melt and rain. ( I do try to keep the snow at bay by brushing and knocking it off of my truck and wife's car before pulling into the garage.

The current floor is not level but I am having it raised in a few weeks as well. Cracks repaired and joints sealed. (have had a problem with water sitting along the side foundation wall) the concrete is typical 40+ year old crete with cracks and spawling. I plan to wash it good then seal it with something to help prevent moisture from absorbing into the slab.

I am having a heater installed next week and hope that the warm air blowing around will help to 'dry' it up to some degree but I wonder if I would be better served with a solid floor tile that I can squeegee off when needed, or the vented tiles??

Hello Mr. Ramsey,

I apologize for the delayed response. I suspect you are referring to the Ribtrax product? We offer a special cleaner that we can send with your order for the surface of the tiles. If you want to clean between the tiles then the use of a shop vac is good. If you prefer more of a solid surface tile then take a look at our new Diamondtrax product. I will send you a free bottle of cleaner with your order just reference this message from GJ!

Happy Thanksgiving to all!
