Swisstrax or Polyaspartic Flooring

I moved in to my “forever home” (until I retire in 20 years anyways). We gutted and renovated everything in the house...now I get to do my 2.5 car garage. I’m torn between a polyaspartic coating and Swisstrax. I live in the Chicago area, so I get all 4 seasons. I was initially set on coating...but everyone I’ve talked to had to have it redone or had problems with coatings. Then I saw Swisstrax and I thought it would be a simple solution. This is the place to ask...so I’m looking for opinions as my drywall and insulation is done...now it’s mud and tape and paint time...then I want to do the floor in about 3 weeks. I open to suggestions...

We sell both garage floor tiles and coatings. I do not sell the brand you mentioned, but its a good brand. It really is an apples and oranges comparison and a lot of what you get depends on how you use the garage.

With a GOOD polyurea system you will not have issues if you take the time and do it correctly. Issues do arise with poor prep or installation.

I went with tiles in my latest home. No prep, quick, easy and back in the same day. I really like Polyura coatings but it just was not the right timing for us
