Swisstrax re-using cut pieces?

Hi. I am trying to figure out how much tile to order without getting too much or too little.

Assuming the measurements work out, can I use the cut-offs from side wall as finish pieces on the front side of the garage(opposite of the garage doors)? I made a quick illustration on the ST website to clarify my question.


I live in Portland OR where our summers will on occasion reach the 90s. How much gap should i allow on each side for expansion?
