OK, forgive me but I'm a newby here...

Can anyone give me a real-time live review of their Swisstrax Ribtrax setup in a garage?

I am looking at doing my 3 car garage at my house with this product. Wondering how it holds up, if it ever buckles/moves when driving around on it, and how easy it is to clean once dirty.

My major concern with the product is cleaning it... Right now, I have bare concrete and I use a weed blower to just clean out the garage on a weekly basis. I'm somewhat worried that with the Ribtrax I won't be able to blow any of the debris out of the garage since it'll fall into the crevices of the product???

Anyone on here use this product????

Thanks so much!!!!!

What the heck is a real-time live review of a garage floor product? Do you want someone to skype with you and show his or her floor?

I just meant someone using the product currently and that has it installed...sorry for offending you sir:beer: Looking for real-world application specific feedback...I've never ever seen this product let alone installed and being driven/worked on.

Had to laugh at this....

I haven't seen many reviews on the Swisstrax Ribtrax product but there are a lot of reviews and threads on its competition the Race Deck Free Flow design, which i have and love.

If you will send me your email address via PM I have a customer that just put it down in Florida. He did it after he saw his brothers and he just keeps sending people because he loves it so much.

Well, after receiving sample tiles from both RD and Swisstrax I've pulled the trigger on the tile that I thought was better for my application. I'm expecting a load of Swisstrax Ribtrax next Tuesday and I will probably install next Wednesday:) I'm pretty excited to see the final project in my garage come to fruition!!!

Thanks to everyone at Swisstrax as they were a true pleasure to deal with:)

You could actually provide some help besides just being a jackass and telling him to search.

I've ordered samples from both including modutile. My biggest challenge is coming up with a unique pattern :) I'm looking to do something very different than your typical checkerboard or boarder patterns.

Of course, in order to make a point, you had to excise the helpful information that I provided in the next post. I gave him the answer about Racedeck being preferred and more used here. And I told him that there is a discount. And it is certainly implicit to these statement that SwissTrax has been discussed as well. So I led him to water. I would note that you provided absolutely no information in response--so what does that make you?

I'm certainly not going to run a search for someone else to add to my response. I frequently tell people they should spend time reading all the flooring threads so they can ask better questions later instead of basing a decision to responses to a single thread. Sorry that is not helpful enough for you or the OP.

I like the little corner cut graphic Racedeck is using. They do a good job of marketing their product. I love the look and feel of the 15 3/4" 3/4" thick tile though! Did you wind up getting the tiles we talked about? How is your wife doing?

It's been tough and to be honest it's really the biggest thing I miss about Colorado. I still go to SW and drool over the pics and vids. I contemplated keeping a sled out there but that winter had a really late start and i'm glad i sold it when i did. I came back from a sick trip to WC (with Bdubs = Brian W) and sold it right before a major dry spell.

Happy to hear your wife is doing better  and getting your garage flooring to redo your garage

In regards to bigger tiles, later this month we will be launching the RaceDeck FreeFlow XL an 18"x18" module that will work together with all RaceDeck products & sizes.

Jorgen-

I really appreciate all the help you gave me during the process as well! It just came down to me liking the larger tile size, so when you launch your new larger tiles I think you'll have yet another hit on your hands!!

I have the 2 car garage almost done and will probably be working towards finishing the remaining floor tomorrow or Friday...so stay tuned for pictures:)

I can't wait to see the final design. What I can see looks great. What color tiles did you use?

Colors are a combination of jet black, pearl silver, and a little arctic white thrown in for the "H".

Thanks for the photo of the samples trackvs2wheels... I'm trying to make the same decision myself right now for a 3-car garage up in Tahoe. I know you ultimately went with ribtrax - will let you all know what I decide once I pull the trigger (should be in the next week or so... I want it before the first snowfall and temps are dropping rapidly...)

Just wondering now that you have had it for awhile, do you still use the leaf blower to clean it out?

Hello,

I saw your post here about your garage floor and saw you live in Monument. Your floor looks beautiful! I'm currently having a house built in Monument as well which will be finished in April and I'm now thinking about doing the garage floor. I'm curious how your floor has handled snow. What do you think?...would you do it again? Thanks!
