I've finally decided on polypropylene interlocking flooring for my 2 car garage. Was pretty much set on Garage Flooring LLC Truelock HD Ribbed. I understand they are basically RaceDeck at a slightly better price. Never once looked at Swisstrax assuming they were out of budget, but for the heck of it starting looking at their website. Found a Ribtrax Smooth 12-series for $3.99 a tile. I kinda like the smooth for feel under bare feet or laying/sitting while working in the garage.

Anyone have the smooth and can offer insight into how they compare to ribbed for things like slippery when wet, or overall comfort. With the smooth it seems the openings are smaller overall, so worried about more snow melt sitting on the surface rather than falling through. But maybe less crud to fall through so easier to clean?

I have Swisstrax ribbed version. Not slippery at all. Can be hard on the knees (kneeling on them for longer that 5 minutes) but overall no problems with bare feet, laying or sitting on them
