Switch for garage heater

Hey everyone. I am installing a construction heater in my single garage to warm it up a bit when I am out there in the cold winter. The heater is 240V and 4800W so I will be wiring with 10-2 and a 30 amp plug and breaker.
I would also like to keep it plugged in and install a switch so I can easily turn it on and off when needed. Are there downsides to wiring a switch? Any recommendations on what type of switch is required?

Thanks for any advice in advance

Hello fellow Canuck. You'll get better advice if you add your location to your posting information, even if it's just "Canada."

I installed Leviton 30 amp dual pole light switches like the Home Depot link above, but I bought mine at Rona.
