Hi

Does anyone make a outlet receptacle with USB ports that can be made half hot/switched?

All the ones I see only have one hot / one neutral screw (well, most of them allow multiple backwires ... but there is no tab to break to split the receptacle into half hot/ switched).

As far as I’m concerned, the USB ports can be hot full time, but one of the two regular 120v outlet I’d like to have connected to a switch.

Do you need a switched outlet in that location? You could make that particular outlet hot all the time just wire nutting the switched wire.

You could install a duplex cover plate that has a USB port on it over a regular duplex and still be able to break off the connecting tabs. The downside is that they're not high powered so your device may not stay charged depending on the current requirement.
