Hello all,
My lathe has a 1hp dual voltage single phase motor on it with a drum type reversing switch. It's hard to see the label but it's an older Chicago Electric motor, I can try and get the model number later if needed.
It's currently set up for 110v and everything works. I need to change it to 220v. The label on the motor tells how to change to 220v but do I need to do anything to the drum switch wiring?
All the wires are the same color and half aren't labelled, and it's a PITA to get to the junction box on the thing. If I need to mess with the drum switch I was hoping someone might have a simple way to swap wires based on how it's hooked up now.
Thanks for your time
