Another option is just a pinless impact joint, much cheaper than buying a flex set. It gets the job done I guess.

Matco makes a swivel adapter that goes from 1/2 female to 3/8 male. Between my 3/8 deep, mid, and shallow (all are much smaller than even 1/2 swivel equivalent sizes), I can make some really cool swivel sockets. It's worth a look, I love mine!
