Recently purchased a new Kawasaki Mule Side by Side. Does anyone have a recommendation for a brand of windshield that can fold down for a breeze and allow a rest for hunting through the front of the vehicle. Thanks!

Available with no brand name on Amazon. The one we have folds from the bottom so the rest may not work unless you modify it or find one that works that way. These are made out of acrylic and scratch easy. The hinge is plastic and breaks down after time. Consider this window to be a consumable.

I bought a Kolpin off Amazon for my Kawasaki Teryx several years ago. It doesn’t fold flat, but the bottom flips out for plenty of breeze.

Be aware that you get much dirtier riding with a windshield than without, as the vortex created by pushing that big plexiglass sheet through the air creates a vacuum that ***** trail dust from behind the machine.

Serious riders add a second window behind the driver, or wear full face helmets and neck scarfs, then take a shower when done riding.

Casual riding at low speeds across the property or on the paved county road or vegetation presents no issues.

My Kolpin was “used”, ie a return, with a damaged box and a steeply discounted price. Everything in the damaged box was in excellent, unused condition, with no missing parts.

The glass windshields have been getting more popular since I bought mine, probably at least partially because the machines have been getting more powerful and faster. Mine flexes a fair amount, but I’m not into high speed thrill riding. A Mule is more of a utility machine than a racer, sp polyacrylic is fine.

Definitely get one that opens for airflow. It gets pretty hot in there otherwise.

Check SuperATV.com if you haven't yet. They carry a few different brands usually plus their own branded windshields. I'm not real familiar with Kawasaki, they don't offer any?

Depends on the model you have, there are a couple of different sizes of Mule. I have two 4010 model Mules. The old one that I have had for 10 years has the ridged poly windshield that is still good. It folds out from the bottom to allow the frunk to open. On the new one I cheeped out and got the cheaper one and it is **** in my opinion. Both are factory units.
