Of the flexible shaft variety. This looks a lot like the old Craftsman I have but I can't dig to it right about now. Isn't this New Britain made?


I'll bet some of you electronics guys have seen these.

Wow, no Sylvania guys out there. Someone here must have a collection going. I'm wondering what else is floating around with their name on it.

I worked for Sylvania's lighting division for about 15 years, first under GTE, then under OSRAM. This is the first hand tool I've seen with that moniker. The factory was old and had lots of in-house equipment with the Sylvania moniker, but I never saw any hand tools.

Interesting. This had to be part of a retail set but I only see one mention of Sylvania on Garage Journal and the pictures are gone. Says it was a Meteor brand wrench set marked Sylvania.


There has to be a whole socket set out there if this driver exists.
