Synthetic Compressor Oil

Got an old Emglo wheelbarrow compressor that lives in back of my truck.
It's due for an oil change, so looking for a good synthetic to ease winter starts.
Any suggestions on kinds, and places to get some?

Believe it or not, but Lowes sells synthetic compressor oil under the Kobalt brand.

I've heard alot about Amsoil but have never tried it.

Is it worth all the hype?

I think the synthetics are worth their money here, The Amsoil or Kobalts if its there. It lasts a long time and could be good for the life of the unit.

There is oil on the shelf at most parts stores.

Dewalt synthetic oil is available at Home Depot. There is also winter grade oil for tools.
