Nice find. I have it on the trial right now and have saved a bunch so far. A lot of things I've ordered didn't allow ship to store, which is no big deal because I'm still 40+ minutes away from the closest store. Delivery to home is so much easier.

Finally got this to work. Got locked out in FireFox, just switched to Internet Explorer and got it to work with a code on SD.

As if they're not bleeding enough money, having to provide free shipping to everyone might be like twisting the knife in Sears Holdings.

I'm already a member, which expires December 2014.

I found some codes that are valid, but doesn't let me buy it for 99 cents. It looks like it is for "new" membership. Did anyone get it to work to renew or extend an existing membership?

How did you do that?

You just kept trying codes in the coupon code box until it worked. When I found valid codes for $39 SYWRMax for 99 cents, I got the typical red box pop up box that says "A better coupon has already been applied" or something to that nature.

Oh. I see the problem. I tried adding it in the Sears cart. You have to renew in the SYWR website. The problem now is that the two codes I have that did work, have now been used up by someone else....

What code did you use? So I can start spawning 7, 17, 7, 17, etc. off of that.

Got one!

Used 99 cents worth of points to pay for it. So free renewal for me, should move me out to a December 2015 date for free shipping!

Hmm, I can't do a second renewal. When I click renew after I did the first one, it just shows me an empty cart. Mine's expiring 6/15/2015 as of now.

Haha, wasn't Amazon Prime the same for a while? I know they still do free prime for students and educators.

I picked up my Prime membership in college, I'm addicted now. $79/year (now $99/year) pales in comparison to the shipping I would have paid on the 70 orders in the past year.

Sears is only asking $39/year, which is really cheap considering a lot of the stuff they sell is way bulky. I doubt they "make" any money on it, but are counting on free shipping to drive sales.

OH SNAP!

I got another one to work.

I'm going to have free shipping until Sears goes bankrupt! Nice.

Try another browser, Safari, Chrome, IE, etc. Or reset your browser; temp file, cookies, etc. That will give you 20 new tries.

They might be capping it at one renewal now, I still can't renew for a second year. It'll appear in my cart, and when I try to apply a coupon code, it'll immediately empty my cart.

:lol_hitti I think you and I have the same train of thought. Sears still has quite a few good quality US made items to buy at good prices when you branch away from the most commonly used hand tools that are now China, but they will probably also be gone within a couple years from now. That's why after renewing twice I didn't bother trying for more.

Maybe that's the plan... "Leak" coupon codes on the internet, and get the masses on Slick Deals to stack, stack, and stack free shipping out til the end of time for a dollar each.

If the people now buy from Sears that normally wouldn't have, great for Sears.

If the people just bought this because they thought they were getting a great deal, but never actually ever buy anything, then also great for Sears.

A win, win for Sears either way. This actually costs Sears nothing, the only way anyone can use it is to buy from Sears. Again, Sears comes out a winner.

Great marketing strategy. Timed perfectly with Amazon raising shipping from $79 to $99 per year.

Yes, maybe your right. Probably just another Sears screw up. One more step to bankruptcy I'm afraid.

Yes, each time you use a coupon, you must turn off auto renewal. Then use another, then turn off, repeat, repeat, repeat.

Open up your profile, click SYR Max, and click cancel renewal.

I gave up, not worth my time anymore. I'll pay the extra 38 bucks if Sears is still alive and well in a year. :)

From SD:
http://slickdeals.net/f/6785100-sho...ual-membership-for-0-99-regularly-39-00-value

Log into your account and find the upgrade/renewal option for SYWR Max 1-year subscription that's normally $39.

Take this code, 9803340969034053
Add combinations of alternating 7 and then 17 to find a code that will work for you. For example, 9803340969034053 + 7 + 17 + 7 worked for me.

Wait so we enter
9803340969034053 and then some form of combination with the numbers 7,17 and 7????
so like 9803340969034053 7177
?????
Can someone please clarify or explain please???

There will likely be cancellations once people start reporting that their legitimate promo codes aren't working.

Happened a few years ago when someone on Slickdeals "decoded" EMS $20 rewards codes.

DAMN! There I go actually having a full load of work to do yesterday, missed out on this :(
Tried about 40 codes from SD linked generator, and another 20 that I calculated, nothing worked..
Might have to ask the guys at the pickup window if they know where these original coupons come from :D. Should have a few orders to pickup today..

So, weird, when I type the original code into Excel, excel wouldn't let me enter a 3 as the last digit, it kept converting it to a 0. So I tried my iPhone calculator, and it would convert the 3 to a 2 every single time! So manually worked out some codes, but none worked. I still have another 2 months of free Max, so will live with that.

Thats because Excel ***** and thinks it knows what you want to do..
Its a cell format issue.. Right click on the cell and Format Cell, set it to custom or special or number and take away the decimal.. Any number of formats might work..

Thanks. I did reset it to Number already, and it still didn't work. It was Excel 2008, which I'm not familia with, as I've been on 2003 for the past ten years.

Oh well, no Max for me.

Thanks.
