Look what I found at the fleamarket today http://vintagemachinery.org/photoindex/detail.aspx?id=16576

One I found isn't as pristine, base is a bit rusty, but it is identical . When I hooked it up, it ran quietly . $20 and the change I had in my pocket, three loonies and a couple of quarters ,$3.50. At 8.8 amp, it's a healthy 1/2hp .It will be used to power one of my wife lapidary polisher/grinder arbors.

The serial # is D19711, making it older than the pictured one. Likely a '60s making it vintage aged. T.Eatons was like Sears was in the States, only in Canada 1869-1999.
