I got these in SAE and metric about a year or two ago, and they’ve been handy for a fair number of times when I was doing a bunch of repetitive work on equipment enclosures, appliances, some small engine work, etc. But they’re a pain to store it seems like. Do any of you use them regularly and if so how/where do you store them in your box?

I just throw them in the box. They are color coded so that's not as bad as it seems. I often use a 7mm on fluid tips on my mini spray guns and the color of the 7mm is brown so I can easily pick it out from the others.

T-handle allen wrenches have their place, but your afore-mentioned storage issues made me go to interchangeable bit sockets and ratchets or ratcheting drivers. Much easier to store and carry a wide array of sizes in a manageable case.

The easiest solution is to store them outside of your toolbox in a T-handle rack. I have Kowa T-handles but store them on a Motion Pro rack. You can buy the rack only from Amazon and other places. I'm not sure how well it would suit those C-mans with the big plastic handles. The rack by itself can hang right on your toolbox or you can also get a optional wall mount.

If I’m being honest with myself, I got them because they were made in USA and fairly cheap at a rural ace hardware. Beyond that I probably had 3 or 4 ways to accomplish the same thing with hand tools alone. But they’re still nice to have around sometimes.

Another option to consider: put them in a deep drawer and build a rack to hold them vertical. I'm working on something like that right now.

Vertical storage results in very high density - the drawback is that you need to mark the top of the handles with sizes or write them on the rack so you can see what you grab (though maybe not in your case with color coded handles).

You could do just part of the drawer or fill the whole thing with screwdrivers - the latter would hold a lot.
