T Nuts

How are T Nuts measured? My new (to me) Chinese Bench Mill has T tracks that are .850 across the bottom and .460 across the top opening. I ordered some 3/4 ‘s thinking they would fit in the .850, but the top on the new Nuts are .500... too wide to go in the .460...?

You need metric t nuts for better fit. 14 and 16 mm are common.

Then the top changes dimensions based on what size studs you are using.
