T8 led conversion kit for 8 foot fixture

I understand that to put 4 foot drop in led tubes in a 8 foot fixture you need a conversion kit to do so.i have seen the kits that come in a stamped steel sheet which you simply break the two end pieces off and the middle piece goes in the center .why do these seem to only be available on the internet and not local?where on the internet is best place to get them!

most electrical supply houses have them.
Ask for tandem kit.

I got mine off the internet because they were about half the cost of the same thing at my local electric supply house...

wouldn't you just buy a proper tomb stone that fits... well 2x or 4x (dependents) if your 8' fixture already have the pre-punched thing. Not sure what other "kit" you would need.

Well, I don't know much about T8 led conversion kit.But I think E-bay, Amazon and Aliexpress might be help.

Why go to the trouble of a conversion kit when you can just snip the wires to the ballast do a little simple rewiring of the fixture and get 8ft T-8 bulbs.
