I purchased the led replacment lights from Lowes. They were 1600 lumens. They just weren't quit bright enough so I orderd a few 3000 lumens from Amazon. These were a real disappointment. They were about the same brightness but cost three times as much. Am I missing something or was I just expecting too much?

No way to confirm light output as neither appears to have DLC rating. LEDmyPlace does sell a DLC rated bulb (link). Suggest sticking with frosted cover. What's your mounting height?

A picture of the space would help. Is this a basic 4ft 2-lamp strip light? How big is the space and how many fixtures?

Nice space! I assume the lamps in the pictures are fluorescent? LED bulbs that are universal: ballast compatible & direct wire may have higher lumen output if direct wired. Still don't like the clear lens LED as they are harsh on the eyes. Narrower beam spread LED will make ceiling darker than fluorescent bulbs.
