Can anyone ID this old rustbucket? Is it worth an attempt at cleaning it up?

Pretty sure it's Craftsman.

I love Old Arn, my wood machines are 50's to 70's, but this is just too little and dinky.

Less'n you want a dinky tablesaw, go for it.

I would let it return to "Mother".

That would be a real time sink, with no reward at the end of the tunnel.

FWIW, over the weekend I passed on a real nice Rockwell Delta 8-inch table saw complete with 1hp motor, fence, and miter gauge for $30. I hate dinky table saws as well.

Stadger - If you are looking for a saw, the CL by you doesn't have anything really good today, but you are in a populous area, a good price on something decent is right around the corner.

What I can see of the rip fence right end looks like Rockwell - at least my '70s 10" Contractor Saw. The rest of it, not really.
I agree, looks like too much work to make it a cutter.
