Tachometer maker?

I happened up in this tachometer at a yard sale on Saturday. From the looks of it, it is a vintage one - chrome, black wrinkle paint, and "MADE IN U.S.A." Not the highest of speeds (4000 rpm), but still a neat piece imo. The only thing is that I can't locate any maker's markings (and neither could my tool inspection helper). I figure with the vast amount of experience and knowledge here, somebody has used or has one of these little beasts and knows who made it. I appreciate the help, as I am baffled...20181014_204006.jpeg20181014_204042.jpeg20181014_204402.jpg20181014_204441.jpg20181014_204805.jpg

It appears to be numbered to read in reverse as well. Is that a roller on the input side? If so, would be useful for checking the rpm of many things.

Looks like a Stewart-Warner it is.....would have been nice to have the can with it. But I guess you get what you pay for, and I didn't pay for the can :(

The thing that had me baffled is the lack of the SW logo - all the other Stewart-Warner gages I have had had that.
